


Dr. Margaret Myers
Dr. Margaret Myers received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and her Master’s degree in Counseling Education from the University of Central Florida. She obtained her Doctorate degree in Mental Health Counseling from Barry University.
She is licensed in the state of Florida (MH 7299) to provide mental health counseling to individuals, families, groups, organizations and communities. She is trained to evaluate, assess, diagnose and treat emotional and mental health needs by cognitive, affective or behavioral interventions. Dr. Myers is a nationally certified counselor (NCC 62889).
Dr. Myers has been in the ministry with her husband, Bishop J. E. Myers, for over fifty years. As a minister’s wife, she served as a lay counselor to many couples and individuals. After receiving her degrees in Psychology and Counseling, Dr. Myers became a licensed therapist and has practiced professionally in this field for twenty years.
INDIVIDUAL
Helping individuals with depression, sexual abuse, anxiety, stress, anger, grief, low self-esteem, phobias, obsessive compulsive disorders and relationship problems.
FAMILY
Helping families with communication skills, problem solving techniques, blended and single family issues and parenting skills.
MARRIAGE
Helping unmarried couples with pre-marital counseling, and helping married couples with communication, separation, or divorce crisis.
